Smile is powerful

There are people refuse to smile with exposing teeth because of their irregular teeth, stained teeth or overexposed gum. They choose to cover mouths when smile, or even not to smile. They might not realize that a smile, is powerful! A confident smile can bring unpredictable power to daily life. You should not let those teeth problems take away the benefits that smile could ever bring to you.
Smile is important!
Smiling provides the same happiness we experience during and after exercising when our bodies release what is known as endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain, to trigger a positive feeling in the body.
Smile isn’t that simple!
During a positive experience our brain sends signals from the front cortex of your brain to the brain then, which in turn sends this signal back to your facial muscles. As such, smiling provides a cyclical effect of positivity: when our brain feels good it tells us to smile, and when we smile it sends the signal back to the brain and so on.
Smiling is contagious!
It’s important to realize that your brain keeps track of your smiles. Your brain knows how often you’ve smiled and therefore determines which overall emotional state you are in as a result. The obvious advice here is to smile, and smile genuinely. The more you smile, the more you will feel good about yourself, and the world around you; After all, smiling is contagious – around 50% of people will always smile back.
Smile benefits health!
In addition to the effects smiling has on your overall outlook on life it also allows you to live longer and look younger:
Reduce stress and increase attention: When we are stressed, our body goes into fight or flight mode, which limits our perceptions and our attention. Smiling counteracts this and widens our attention again, opening us back up to multitasking and insights that come from the fringes of our perception and subconscious.
Longevity: Smiling has been known to make you live up to 3 years longer as a result of less stress, lower heart rate and a range of health-related benefits. In addition, when you smile it also makes you look younger as it lifts the face for a more youthful and plump appearance.
We can get so many benefits from smiling, please do not be a miser to smile. If some bad oral conditions (like stained teeth, bad breath, etc) have stopped you from smiling. Don’t worry, try some teeth whitening products and you will get a brighter smile to embrace life.
